A Few Key Points from the Governor’s Executive Order #187 and the Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association
Unfortunately NO SPECTATORS ARE ALLOWED to come inside to watch games or practices. Only essential game personnel are allowed inside. All Players need to arrive at our facility dressed in full equipment. Social distancing of 6’ apart inside and outside of our facility is extremely important as is wearing a facemask or face-covering. Let’s all respect and follow the rules so the kids can enjoy their full hockey season.
**REQUIRED**
Entering and Exiting Rules
1. EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE PROPERLY WEARING A FACEMASK COVERING THEIR NOSE AND MOUTH TO ENTER. Entry for all players, coaches, one team manager from each team and officials will begin approximately 15 minutes before game time.
2. FOR ONLY GOALIES AGE 12 AND UNDER: If needed, One Parent of ONLY the GOALIES from both teams in this age group, will be allowed inside our lobby area to help their child complete the dressing process. Parent and child should make every effort to try and be among the first to enter the building when our staff allows. Goalies should enter the building at a minimum already wearing their undergarments and goalie pants to speed up the dressing process inside. After completely dressed, Goalies should KEEP THEIR PLAYING MASKS OFF AND FACEMASKS ON while joining their teammates inside the rink area at a designated chair. Coaches can handle helping with Goalie Masks before game time.
3. All Skaters must arrive at our facility wearing FULL equipment. They must also be wearing a facemask covering their nose and mouth. Only skates, helmets and gloves should be placed inside a bag to be put on at their assigned chair before the game. Players who are not able to tie up their own skates will need to enter the rink wearing them on and tied. Hard plastic skate guards are recommended. Coaches can handle helping with buckling up helmets before game time.
4. All who enter the rink will have a forehead temperature reading taken by one of our staff members. A reading of over 99.9 is a fail meaning you won’t be allowed inside and must leave immediately.
5. Everyone entering will be asked to sanitize their hands at our front door station.
6. One of our staff members will guide players to a chair inside the rink to put their skates on. Players may ONLY take off their facemask just before they go on the ice.
7. After the game exit the ice surface through your assigned gate and find your chair.
8. Put your facemask back on immediately after taking off your helmet
9. Quickly remove your skates, placing them in your small bag along with your gloves and helmet.
10. Don’t forget all your belongings as you leave immediately and exactly the way you came in, fully dressed.
** NOTE: HOME TEAM vs VISITING TEAM**
We have enough chairs inside the rink area for both teams. We ask that the visiting team sit where asked, in chairs starting just beyond the Pro Shop door, down the side boards of the rink towards locker room 4. Your entrance and exit to the ice surface is through the rink gate near locker rooms 2/3 as well as the rink gate near locker room 4. We ask that the home team sit where asked, in chairs starting from across from the Pro Shop door around the café end of the rink towards the Home team players bench. Your entrance and exit to the ice surface is through the rink gate across from the Pro Shop or near the Home team player’s bench.
