Wolfpack Families,
Due to the recent executive order 204 by New Jersey State Governor Phil Murphy the Wolfpack Hockey Club can no longer conduct practices or game events. USA Hockey along with the AAHA Atlantic District has categorized ice rinks as recreational facilities. Under their guidance hockey rinks can host clinics or lessons under executive order 187 with a 25% capacity.
The Wolfpack Hockey Club will have a skills clinic schedule available for our families to participate in. These clinics are included in your yearly tuition costs. Clinics will be conducted by JRM Hockey till Holiday break. Please keep in mind that the Wolfpack Club did indeed front load the season from July through October with extra practice slots taking advantage of all available ice time under COVID-19 situation in preparation of season starting in October and another possible shut down like currently ordered by the State of NJ. We have all intentions to fill the regulated game counts for each team to finish their season into the month of March.
Our program asks that all players, parents and families continue to do their part in making the Wolfpack Hockey a fun safe environment to have our children continue to be on the ice. All current guidelines set forth are in place as no parents in the building, temperature checks, etc. Further guidelines or time frames before and after sessions may be put in place to further the required protocols and safety.
I believe I speak for all the parents of the club that want to just keep continuing to see our players on the ice as I know this is emotional time for your children.
Your coach or team manager will reach out and let you know when the appropriate clinic will be for your child's age group.
If you have any questions please contact Hockey Director Kevin Angert by email.
